First therapist that has actually listened to me and responded based off my individual situation, not just fed textbook script. 13/10

Jessica is amazing. I actually met 2 other therapists before finding Jessica. I was proud of myself that I knew the others weren't right. It's easy to stay in situation that isn't the best. Jessica is the best! She's solution driven. She picks up on what I'm saying immediately, rephrases it in a way that's even more articulate and clear. She hones in on nuances of my partner that I've never said (or even noticed). She's perceptive, caring, and solution driven. She won't ever make you feel like you're sitting on a sofa looping around and around. She helps to get you focused and find solutions! Which I believe is what we all need.

I am a thoughtful and pragmatic therapist and supervisor, who seeks to mobilise the resilient and courageous part of you to help you to make the changes you need to begin to improve your life. I will support you confidentially with care and compassion as you learn about yourself and try new ways of approaching your difficulties.

I have been working as a therapist for 20 years, originally trained as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist I use two approaches . I work in an an open ended way to help deal with the many issues which stem from childhood. If working more briefly I employ a forward looking Solution Focused therapeutic approach to help you move on form your current concerns.

My experience as a workplace counsellor means I have a good understanding of issues within the workplace and how personal problems can affect your work life and vice versa , I can also support you if you have been affected by a traumatic incident in the workplace. I have a particular interest in addressing the emotional aspects of diabetes (helping people who wish to reverse it via exercise and diet) and supporting cancer patients during and post treatment.

I might use GAD7, PHQ9, HADS and/or IES-R to evaluate your needs as part of an initial assessment session.

My clinical experience includes: self harm, suicidal ideation and risk, depression, anxiety, work stress, workplace grievance and bullying, relationship issues, early attachment, eating disorders, workplace trauma, bereavement, sexual abuse, ethnicity and cultural sensitivity, working appropriately with clients in the court process, patient recall support. I have an understanding of enduring mental health issues, medication, substance misuse and addiction.

I look forward to meeting with you.
