Cindy and I have found a good groove. Therapy is slow going and there are no easy fixes sometimes but I feel confident with her that I am heading in the right direction

Cindy has been nothing but a delight to work with. This is my first time going to therapy and I was extremely nervous to sign up. Betterhelp paired me with Cindy and I couldn’t be more grateful. She’s kind, funny, understand, sympathizing, and most of all.. Human. I don’t feel like I’m just talking to a wall. I feel like I am talking to a person who cares and makes me feel safe to talk to her.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Reviewed February 2024

Cindy is a great listener, and meets you where you are. I also enjoy that she doesn’t force clients to relive their trauma and explain every detail and how it made you feel, but if it comes up organically we explore it and if not we don’t. She stays up to date with clients and sends messages throughout the week her expertise and care shows through in her actions and she truly listens. She focuses on the now instead of focusing on problems in the past.

Since the first session with Cindy I have felt welcome. She has made it easy to connect and open up to especially for a first timer with therapy! My life has changed in many positive ways since starting with her. When I need to talk about something she always makes me feel comfortable and when I have no idea what to say she is on top with keeping us in line with a work book we are doing together that has provided me with information I would not have come across without her help. Sessions with Cindy always end in a smile, like talking to a knowledgeable friend. I highly recommend!
