Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Reviewed December 2023

Justin is a great listener and makes your situation feel understood no matter how complicated. :)

Reviewed November 2023

From the first meeting, Justin has helped me discover new ways to treat my anxiety and showed me ways to fight my depression through positive affirmation. Showing me breathing routines and helping me notice physical changes when I’m getting worked up.

Reviewed November 2023

I have been working with Justin for many weeks and he is remarkably talented. He has extensive training in many areas and has perspectives and recommendations that are extremely helpful. I read the two negative reviews from two people expecting an instant fix to their problems, and those two reviews could not be more thoughtless and wrong. Each author posted their review after a single session. and BetterHelp should not even allow that. Just is a spectacular therapist and I feel lucky I was matched with him.
