My experience with Lynne changed my life. For as long as I can remember, I'd been dealing with extremely painful and debilitating intrusive thoughts, and didn't really believe there was any way to feel better, after many unsuccessful attempts at therapy and medication. Lynne made me feel heard, validated, and helped me put words on things I had experienced. She helped me forgive myself and learn to believe that I'm a good person again. I can't begin to express how grateful I am for this.

  • LISW, LCSW

Hi! I am glad you are here! My name is Lynne and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years. My experience has included working with a vast array of people challenged by life situations and experiencing anxiety, depression, problems with substance abuse, trauma, grief and loss just to name a few.

It is my belief that if suffering and uncertainty are inherent in our humanness, so too is joy, growth and the ability to heal through connectedness. People often seek therapy having exhausted their own internal resources trying to feel better. They may also believe they have exhausted their loved ones with their own self-doubt, sadness or shame. Or one may be experiencing a more vague yet persistent sense of being overwhelmed or numb and disconnected.

If anxiety, sadness, irritability, anger or grief is impacting your quality of life; or, if you have been managing uncomfortable emotions with substances and questioning your relationship with alcohol or drugs, I’d like to help. I offer my clients the opportunity to explore who they are, who they want to be, and importantly, a partnership in forging the path toward healing and change.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Lynne is a breath of fresh air, and has been a huge support to me in navigating a very difficult time of my life. I have had challenges in supporting a family member with very serious psychiatric diagnoses, and she has helped me gain understanding on how to maintain my own sense mental health, while also establishing healthy ways to support my family member, and also holding important boundaries in our relationship to promote family safety. I am so grateful for her wise words shared, openness, and the comfort I have in knowing I can share anything with her without experiencing a sense of judgment, but rather understanding. Lynne is a phenomenal therapist and care provider.
