My primary focus is working with adults 18 years of age and older including Seniors. I have over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addictions Counselor in Colorado. I have worked in various settings including inpatient, outpatient and private practice. I have extensive experience teaching and supervising others working toward licensure. I was a First Responder to the World Trade Center Incident and served on the National Mental Health Disaster Team via the Red Cross.

I have a passion for and an innate belief that people can learn, grow and change. My specialities include Grief Work, Anxiety, Depression, Substance Abuse. I work with diverse client populations including older adults and the LGBT community.

My therapy style is positive and interactive. I am a good listener and I don't believe in labeling or stereotyping others. I believe in problem solving and finding solutions from a cognitive perspective. Therapy is about you and your needs. I will tailor your treatment to meet your specific needs.

It takes courage to start or even to start therapy again. I look forward to supporting you in your endeavors of change.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
