My name is Wendy Weaver and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been practicing in my local community since 2011. I began my career working with a non-profit by helping children, teenagers, parents, and couples who struggled with various issues, ranging from learning to cope with day-to-day stressors to healing from major traumas.

In the years since then, I’ve helped young adults in college wrestling with academic pressure, newly blended families yearning for harmony, couples searching to renew faded intimacy, and individuals struggling to overcome addictive patterns. This broad range of therapeutic experience has helped me to become well-rounded as a mental health professional.

I believe in a collaborative approach where we work together to identify and achieve your goals. As much of the change process happens between our sessions, you can expect to be challenged to seek real-world applications of what we discuss in session. Doing so allows you to experience meaningful, enduring results.

I welcome your email or call. Let me be your guide in helping you navigate your own change.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
