Joan in an incredible therapist. I came to her with a number of things I needed to work on, death, trauma, anxiety, etc. With her help, I have gone from being terrorized by my anxiety to now having the tools to work through them in a safe and healthy manner. I hope everyone finds a therapist like Joan, someone who listens, empathizes, gives lots of tools and creates a safe place to grow and share.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I enjoy talking to her. She has a good understanding about how to help with certain aspects of ADHD and other conditions. And she knows how to help me understand and handle the grieving process.
Wonderful therapist. Kind and listen but is also willing to challenge you so that you grow and change for the better.
Thank you for always being available and making me feel cared for and supported no matter what. With all the kind words of wisdom.
I have finally connected with a therapist. Joan makes me feel understood. She listens attentively and make me feel comfortable sharing, or not sharing, uncomfortable things. When she speaks there is always kindness in her voice, and never judgement. Her help is making a positive impact in my life.
Joan has been a great help to me and offers me guidance and points of view that I had previously not considered. I highly recommend her as well as Better Help.
Just off the first session, Joan has been someone who made me feel seen and heard. Someone I can trust with my private life. She is incredible with adjusting the therapy to my beliefs and values and that is incredible.
Joan is the best counsellor I have had. She is an active listener and respectful about what I am willing to discuss. She has great insight and perspective to my situation. I feel very comfortable when talking with her.

Joan is such a wonderful person. I'm so glad I stuck with better help, I had tried 2 other therapists that didn't work out for me initially and found Joan after them. I'm so glad I stuck with it. She is a great wonderful person who is helpful and understands. Would recommend her to anyone.

Joan is compassionate, kind, and helpful! I love my time with her!
Joan has been super helpful and made me feel comfortable!
Joan was very easy to talk to and understood my issues and concerns. It was a very pleasant experience.
She always sends me a message to check on me even tho I haven't had a session with her yet, she's super awesome and kind!
She really knows what to say. Very thoughtful, understanding, and kind.
Outstanding,
Joan is great at holding space and creating a sense of safety to open up and share the more difficult things I need to unpack and heal. In my efforts at creating positive change in life, I have (finally) decided to enter into counseling and my only regret is that I did not do this sooner; had I known it would be this empowering, I surely would have taken this step a long time ago. Joan is wonderful.
