Hello and welcome! I am excited that you are taking the first step toward improving your mental health! I believe the therapeutic relationship is a partnership. Working with the whole person is important to me. You will find that along with doing a mental health assessment, I am also evaluating your physical health. I have found over the years that a person could have a health condition that could cause mental health concerns or amplify mental health symptoms. If needed, I can coordinate with your primary medical provider.

This is my 17th year as a counselor! Time flies! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. It’s been a privilege for me to be able to work with children and adults ranging from 2-62! I currently work with adults starting at age of 18. I work with people that struggle with daily stressors to more severe mental health concerns such as Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, and Bipolar. I also have experience running a Divorcing Parenting Group that identifies how you can help both your children and yourself!

The counseling relationship that I have with a person is a client-centered approach. I will follow your lead to help you to identify your own goals and therapeutic path. I use the recovery model, where I believe that you can recover from a mental health condition through therapy and/or medication management if needed.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out! I look forward to meeting you!

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
