This therapist is understanding, compassionate, and appropriately detached when called in for life’s most difficult and very private decisions. He is Faith inspired and Faithful to supporting the individual he serves. He is a steward to me where i need additional listening and feedback for moving ahead, particularly when things are confusing or hurtful. I feel very privileged to receive his sincere and professional attention and care.

I am so lucky to have found a virtual “ BetterHelp” therapist I can be heard and understood by, and resolve the inevitable scheduling issues with. Sustaining a relationship with a virtual therapist is a modern behavior! I am grateful for the opportunity and feel so fortunate to have John in my corner to help me navigate through the challenges I’d otherwise face alone and less functionally.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

John listens actively. I know he hears me. He is also not shy about making suggestions to me for how I might better cope when I come to him in distress, and when I do not and there might be a more productive way. He is kind and compassionate and very thoughtful in his responses during session.
John has been great. Very common sense approach and gives me a listening ear when I need to talk.
John is a knowledgeable practitioner and has a lot to offer his clients. It’s important to know that his sessions are 30 minutes. He also prefers to talk in session rather than via text, at least in between session.
Excellent therapist and easy to talk to
Awesome therapist! Highly recommend!
Thank you.
John is excellent, best therapist I have had
I have only had one session with Dr Reininger and i Am Completely Grateful !!! THANK U ALWAYS!!!
John's been great so far! He's been very responsive to my needs, including moving his schedule around to make a spot open for a somewhat time-sensitive issue. He did miss one appointment without an explanation: Not a huge deal since we were able to connect soon after, but it would have been nice, and probably helpful to maintain trust to have acknowledged this in some form.
He’s amazing and a relatable therapist. Easy to talk to
He listens to me, hears you out. He addresses the root of every issue. He's been extremely helpful on my journey.
John is great!
