After two previous therapists that I did not quite feel a connection, I found Amber. She is very supportive and a great listener. Amber has guided me into finding my empowered self and uncover many of my strengths that I had buried inside me. I have much gratitude for Amber's constant support.

Amber feels like my best friend. She also asks really good questions to get to the bottom of certain feelings to unpack where I’m at. She immediately made me feel very comfortable and I could talk to her for hours.

Hello! I've been a licensed psychotherapist in the state of Florida for the past 11 years. I graduated summa cum laude from Barry University with a Master of Social Work. I've worked in different areas of practice, including community mental health, addictions, and children and families. I have a special place in my heart for helping teenagers, parents of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and individuals with anxiety and depression - especially women who have experienced post-partum depression and psychosis. I strive to be my most authentic self and when appropriate, sprinkle in some humor into our sessions.

I tap into your existing inner strengths and use those to help you figure out solutions and come up with strategies. I specialize in working with teens and adults who experience issues with stress, self-esteem/confidence, anxiety, family conflict, depression, grief/loss, and trauma (I'm trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).

We're a team and we will figure things out together - whatever it is. I deeply care about the people I help. Clinical skills are very important for a therapist to have, but what I think matters most is the rapport and trust clients have with their therapist. I want to empower my clients to build insight and skills to better handle what life throws at them.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Amber is a great therapist. She truly wants to help. It’s not just a job, she wants to help you in any way. She is always very attentive to all my messages, calls, videos. She always is checking in on me, more than I could have dreamed. I have been seeing therapist over 20 years and she is one that I put at the top. One a person sees you for you, no judgement, helps in a way that makes you involved in your health decisions, and wants the best, that is a genuine person. Something hard to find these days.
