More about Gracia

Hello! I'm Gracia (Gray-sha) and I have been practicing counseling for the past 3 years. I have worked in a variety of settings doing counseling with people of all different ages and mental health disorders, including, but not limited to: substance addictions, behavioral addictions, couples, children, teens, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I have helped many clients in healing from traumas, relationship problems, and emotional regulation.

Currently I am available on betterhelp for about five hours per week. I am mostly available for sessions on Monday mornings, but at times my schedule will differ.

My counseling style is kind and gentle, but also direct. I provide a nonjudgmental and caring space, but am also not afraid to challenge my clients or uncover hard truths in a respectful manor. I see myself as a giver in my roll. I give people the opportunity and tools to help and heal themselves. It is an honor for me to work with people as they go through hard times in their lives, and I take that roll very seriously.

I look forward to working with you! :)

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
