I am not new to counseling/therapy, however it has been many years since I have had a counselor/therapist and I was hesitant to start back again. Due to circumstances that have spiraled out of control in my life right now I knew it was time. Kathy has made my transition back into counseling/therapy welcoming and exciting. I look forward to our sessions every week. Kathy actively listens and gives thought provoking and encouraging feedback. This has allowed me to change my perspective and practice healthly habits to better balance myself. Kathy also is a team player by, with my permission of course, communicating between my team of doctors, which is a huge plus, since communication is key to a successful plan and bill of health.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Kathy is great! Since I started seeing her on a weekly basis, she has never once been late. She is knowledgeable and has a lot of experience in the issues I was looking for, she is kind and easy to talk to, and she has good advice based in facts. Also, she did not hesitate to make her self available for multiple sessions during one specifically difficult week. I am so happy I got matched with Kathy!
