More about Lester

  • 22 years' experience

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor located in Texas with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field and working as a counselor. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues and parenting issues. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

My approach to therapy includes being respectful, sensitive to individual needs, and showing compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels that ultimately do not define who an individual is. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral and trauma focused CPT. I have training in and utilize Christian/Biblical Counseling when requested. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

If you are not sure if counseling would be helpful or not, please consider meeting with me first to discuss what supports or needs you may have and then decide whether to pursue counseling further.

I look forward to working with you!

Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
