"Once you choose hope, anything's possible". -Christopher Reeves

If this is your first time seeking therapy or returning for various reasons, welcome. I know it is not easy to seek out help but doing so just shows how strong you are. I applaud you for putting yourself first.

I am a clinical social worker who has worked with clients managing depression, anxiety, past and current traumas, relationship issues, mood disorders, and those struggling with life changes. I have training in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Family Therapy, and Strength Based Therapy.

I truly believe that therapy is a useful tool for anyone at any stage in life no matter if they have utilized therapy before. Therapy's most powerful tool is yourself. My philosophy of counseling is based on the belief that you possess the power to change and that my role is to support you in becoming aware of your inner strengths that foster growth. You already have all the answers, my job is just to hold a mirror for you to see them for yourself. Our therapeutic relationship will be supported in a safe, non-judgmental space to allow you to explore whatever may have brought you into therapy. I will simply provide a safe space where you can process emotions without judgment and learn to recognize your strengths. During our work together, your uniqueness will be celebrated. I will use a gentle approach to assess and treat you as an individual.

I am passionate about the work I do and will be honored to be part of your healing and growing process.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
