I am a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania with over 20 years of experience working as a therapist. My primary area of expertise is addictions and couples/family therapy. I have also worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, OCD, ADHD and addictions. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, internal family systems, and motivational interviewing. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
I will adjust my style to work best with your area(s) that you may be struggling with now.
I look forward to speaking and working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Truly satisfied with our sessions!
Really appreciate you!
Kristen brings a world of experience to our sessions. She is a wonderful listener and helps direct my flow of thoughts in a gentle way. She has supported me and given me new coping skills that I am able to use every day. She is truly a wonderful person to engage with and I can not recommend her highly enough.
Very warm and genuine , she has a wonderful way of speaking to you like someone you might know personally while still being able to steer the conversation in a productive direction. It’s almost like having a therapist posing as a friend , she makes you feel comfortable enough to speak candidly like you would catching up with a girlfriend over coffee and very seamlessly sneaks in the therapy. Very good woman !
Kristin is great at what she does. I appreciate her so much.
Very nice, checks up on me. Gives advice when necessary. Thank you
Even after just 1 session with Kristin I can already tell that she is very good. She is understanding, and listens to everything I have to say. I’m looking forward to more sessions with her to see what she can bring out of me.
