Ms Deborah has been very helpful in my journey of healing. She’s brought up quite a few questions and homework for self-reflection. She’s a great listener and because of that, she is able to help me understand what is happening. I am a Christ believer and because she is too, she is able to refer back not only her experience and training, but most importantly for me, to the Bible for Christ-centered solutions which is amazing. It gives me a peace of mind having a therapist like her. I highly recommend her. However, in order for your journey to progress, you got to commit and do the work too.

  • LISW, LCSW

Hello! My name is Deborah Anderson and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Texas. I am also a Licensed Independent Social worker (LISW) in Ohio, my home state. I have worked with people challenged by substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, grief and loss. My approach is solution focused, I want to work collaboratively with clients to identify ways to work through the things that have been barriers to their having a fulfilling life. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral therapy to help clients restructure the life beliefs that have hindered them from reaching their identified potential.

When working with clients I want to meet them where they are and work with them to determine not only where they want to go in life, but also by what mode they would like to get there. I feel that I'm a visitor on a journey my client has invited me to experience with them.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Deborah is the best. I would highly recommend her. She has a way of listening and using her own life story to give you gems to guide you in the right direction. After speaking with her, I always feel like I can go on a little longer. The feeling of leaving church on Sunday, life just looks a little brighter. 10/10.
