More about Nancy

  • 30 years' experience
  • Female
  • LCSW

I am a social worker as well as a nurse. I try to incorporate holistic therapy with a humanistic approach as well as a focus on trauma and how that impacts our current lives. I believe that we can all heal if we are given the tools to look into how our past experiences are impacting our current relationships as well as how to move forward from those feelings that do not serve us. I also incorporate meditation and mindfulness into our sessions but it is also not necessary if this is not something you feel comfortable doing. I have over 30 years of experience working with all populations, including the elderly who are often forgotten when it comes to mental health. I have most of my experience in trauma and crisis intervention and domestic violence, however, I am also a life coach who can help you get on track if you are feeling stuck in your personal, work and romantic relationships.

My therapeutic style would be considered warm, respectful and compassionate. I will tailor your therapeutic experience based on your individual needs. Thank you for finding the courage to embark on this journey. Work with me and let's help you find the healing you deserve.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
