I am a licensed clinical social worker in Indiana with over 15 years of experience working as a therapist and life coach. I earned a Bachelor of Arts (Major: Psychology) from Indiana University, Bloomington in 2003 and earned a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis in 2008. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, teens transitioning to adulthood, and healing from past trauma and abuse. I also have experience helping families navigate the child welfare system and foster care.
I am passionate about empowering and supporting individuals who have been in or are currently in emotionally abusive or toxic relationships. These relationships may include, but are not limited to, love bombing followed by gaslighting, isolation from your friends or family, questioning your own reality, feel as though you've lost your sense of self, and have a desire to leave but can't bring yourself to go through with it or a desire to get back together with your partner even though you know it is not healthy for you. My goal is to educate you on toxic traits and red flags, empower you to find your sense of self again, and equip you with the tools necessary to heal from this silent abuse.
My therapy style is warm, interactive, empowering, yet straightforward and forthright. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmas or labels. I believe everyone has power within them to heal and make healthy changes in their lives. My job is to help you find that power so you can rediscover your voice and start creating the life you want to live! My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Megan was amazing. She helped me so much with my postpartum depression and all the changes that I was going through. I still use coping methods that she taught me and I saved a lot of information that I needed that she supplied to me. I tell everyone about BetterHelp and about how amazing she made me feel. I loved talking to her. It honestly was like talking to her best friend that I've never met and I think that if you get along with your psychiatrist and you feel open and free then it just makes everything so much easier.
megan is a very understanding therapist. she takes time to learn about you and what you are wanting help with. she accepts anything and everything. she’s very helpful ! i really love that i can talk to her and know she listening! she’s a great therapist

Megan is a great therapist. She provides me with the tools that I need to manage my anxiety.
She is so understanding. She relates to me and makes me feel comfortable sharing! I've already recommended Better Help because of her!
I've found my sessions with Megan to be really helpful. She is kind and helps me to come to the answers and solutions by myself, with helpful questioning and prompting. I struggle with opening up to others, and feel like Megan both respects that, and provides me with the support and encouragement to practice doing this. I really appreciate you Megan and all your support on my journey!
After 2 sessions, I am very impressed and happy with Megan! She is great - she gives honest, unbiased, non-judgmental advice and helped me mentally work through an issue with my partner, piece by piece. I felt she helped me get to the root of a problem pretty quickly in our second session. I will definitely recommend her to my friends.
She was great and very helpful.
I have only had 2 sessions but I will have a better feel for the services later on

Megan has been super helpful. I feel seen and understood, but also held and supported.
