The path to healing after a trauma is unique to each individual. I believe in helping you discover the best path for you. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) within a private practice setting. I graduated in 2018 from Wake Forest University with a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Since then, I have had the opportunity to serve a diverse range of clients in community and private practice settings. I have provided individual, family and group therapy to adults and children. I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma in their life to include adults, children, adolescents, and veterans. Additionally I am a Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider (LSOTP) in the state of Illinois and provide treatment services for juveniles with problematic sexual behaviors.

I best assist my clients by utilizing an Eclectic therapeutic approach specifically tailoring evidenced based approaches to the individual client needs. My counseling style primarily relies on CBT, Solution Focused, and Person Centered/strength-based approaches. I have been specially trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy.

I make it a priority to provide a safe, open and non-judgmental environment for each of my clients. I am passionate about helping you achieve your therapeutic goals and building upon your strengths to improve your quality of life. I am a military veteran with extensive deployment experience which enables understanding of concerns unique to military life.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
