Rebecca is a remarkable therapist! Her ability to remember and follow up on items discussed is so refreshing. She truly does care and helps me work through situations. I have gained so much skill the past year working with her. I am able to process current situations instead of being a "passenger" in my own life. I am eternally thankful to have been placed with Rebecca and been able to learn and grow from my time with her.

I really enjoy working with Dr. St. James. In the past, counseling has caused me great anxiety, but I truly look forward to our sessions. I’d say we meet roughly every 2-3 weeks, but she checks in once or twice in between sessions also. Dr. St. James is a great listener and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I believe the most important piece of a successful outcome in therapy is building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. I am passionate about serving and empowering people to become their best selves. I have worked with people challenged by depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, abuse, grief, and many other life stressors. My approach is client centered and strengths based, drawing heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and some Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, among others.

In working alongside clients, I strive to make the therapy experience genuine, positive, respectful, and safe. I believe that you are the expert of your own story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming challenges. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can be hard and scary, and it takes courage. I am proud of you for taking this step toward healing. I am excited to meet you and work together to identify your goals and make plans to achieve them!
