I feel very comfortable speaking with Ashley on any and all topics. Appreciate that she makes suggestions for improving without being pushy or condescending. She is good at recalling specific people/personalities from previous conversations, saving any need to waste time being repetitive. I’m looking at setting healthy boundaries in a new way because of our time together.

You are on the search for something. Whether it is clarity, peace, happiness, support, or the freedom to finally explore who YOU truly are. We often feel the pressure to appear we have it all together when deep inside we are fighting a battle within. This journey that you are on, no longer has to be walked alone. My approach includes using a mix of cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered, and Freudian theories. As trust is built within the the therapeutic relationship, vulnerability resides. I truly value working with diverse clients and understand the importance of being culturally aware and competent.

In my career I've worked as a family specialist working with families in their time of crisis. Helping trauma clients is something that I am truly passionate about including my years of working with the abused and neglected. Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I felt comfortable, and seen, by Ashley from our first session. We have discussed many topics and it feels like a flowing conversation, not a formal question and answer session. I came into this very aware of the people and situations causing me stress and anxiety. We are working to help me find some peace and strength by setting boundaries and finding more joy. I greatly appreciate her flexible schedule and speedy acknowledgment of messages sent to her. Enjoying this platform.
