I am a licensed professional counselor (she/her) in South Carolina, and have been working as a therapist with individuals and groups for over eight years. Things can feel overwhelming at times, and I’d like to help you lift the weight of life’s struggles. Change can be difficult, however, so is staying in the same place.

I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship issues, OCD, and ADHD. My most preferred therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, along with related evidence-based techniques. My therapy style is one of acceptance, genuineness, and positive regard. I aim to empower you to work through challenging situations with fortitude and resilience.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward change. I look forward to meeting you, and to providing guidance and support on your journey of balance and healing.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Jordy has helped reinforce how I’m approaching my mental wellness and the tools I use (such as meditation, breathing exercises and worksheets among other activities). I value the trust she has built with me and the suggestions/advice she provides. It’s a huge relief knowing she’s in my corner.

Jordanna has always been a help in the highs or lows and I feel instant security when discussing my concerns.

Reviewed September 2023

Jordanna has been great and is a great fit for what I need. I had someone before her who wasn’t as good of a fit for me personally but was a good counselor nonetheless, and I’m glad I made the switch. She offers a variety of tools and suggestions that go beyond just telling you to “just do it.” Some things she suggests are more wholistic feeling while still having a lot of traditional psychological tools as well. I’d recommend her to people who are looking for good coping strategies and are looking for ways to ground themselves and become more balanced in life.

This is my first experience with therapy and I came into it not knowing at all what to expect. Since I started I am completely satisfied and glad that I get to work with Jordy. She is kind and understanding while still offering another perspective, and when I don’t know how to articulate what it is that I am feeling she finds a way to make it make sense to me. I’m confident that as we continue or work together I will achieve my goals with her help.
