My passion is to help people heal at their deepest core levels. In my clinical practice I have worked with clients experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological symptoms using CBT, ACT, DBT, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness interventions and most recently EMDR and IFS for the treatment of traumatic events. EMDR and IFS are empirically based treatment interventions designed to access and transform prior emotional wounds. These trauma wounds are often at the root of present day suffering.

Compassion, empathy, genuineness, unconditional acceptance and love of learning are a few of the personal traits that I bring to therapeutic work. My clients have experienced freedoms from Anxiety, PTSD, Panic, Depression, Self Esteem and Religious and Spiritual issues. I hold two Master’s degrees, with broad vocational and life experience. I offer you hope that with therapy your life can be transformed.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

✨ I will never be able to fully express the true amount of gratitude that I have for this man. How can you ever express enough for such a human that can legitimately save your life? And turn you around enough to see that YOU matter?! You feel like Michael could be your best friend and that is a treasure these days — in any human, let alone a therapist.

I tried BetterHelp because I wanted a more frequent approach to my mental care. Mike has been responsive, encouraging, and supportive through my journey to better mental health. We work in one to one sessions, I journal and can even text when I need help with something pressing. He has helped me become more reflective and intentional about my actions. If you're looking for someone who is invested in you as a person, and an expert in their craft, you've found it in Mike Brown.

Mike is an amazing human that sees you as a human experiencing the struggles of what life has provided you with and helps you to am yourself to overcome those barriers. Mike was impressively quick to see ME and what I'm experiencing. He has been ambidextrous and beyond motivated and determined to help me reach my ultimate goal - conquering every Boundary that I face that i have learned to use for protection causesd by the trauma I have endured.

Mike has been an absolutely Godsend! I was very skeptical of online therapy, and of therapy in general. Mike, has shown me that it is okay to be who you are. It is okay to share things about yourself, in order to find peace, and acceptance. I’m so glad I decided to try BetterHelp, and very thankful to have been paired with Mike!
