Thomas is simply put amazing. He had a gentle way of explaining and understanding my issues and was of great help to me in dealing with a lot of confidence issue i had. His reccomended worksheet and suggestions are still something i refer to on a daily basis and i am so glad he introduced me to them! Thanks Thomas!!

After a couple of months Tom got a normal job and couldn’t see me other than nights and weekends. Tom made me believe that he cared and could be a long term therapist but BetterHelp was just temporary for him (should’ve figured because he had just moved). Wish I hadn’t wasted my time and mental energy with Tom, BetterHelp was obviously not his first priority. Not very ethical in my opinion

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
