I worked with Edith for a few months and the progress and confidence I've gained from her has been astounding. She is great for someone like me who was new to therapy due to her approachable and friendly character. She gave some really helpful strategies for my mental health and our sessions just felt like two friends catching up. Finding times for sessions was easy even with the international time difference. I will always remember her as a person who was there during my worst and helped pull me out. I owe her a lot!!! :) :) <3

Greetings! My name is Edith and have been working in the mental health field for over 6 years. The foundation of my therapy approach begins with compassion, empathy, dignity and respect. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, dialectical behavioral and solution focus therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I can also include a spiritual base approach that includes many techniques such as, visualization, meditation, shadow work, and healing energy work.

I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem, gender identity, physical trauma or emotional abuse.

I do not work with individuals who struggle with any form of personality disorders or self-harm behaviors (SIB).

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Working with Edith has been nothing short of an amazing experience! She is a great combination of patient, listening, understanding and knowledgable, but also honest and forth-coming with her advice. She challenges me in ways that I need to be challenged, but always from a position of empathy and willingness to help. I really have come to respect her for what she brings to the table, and her ability to not shy away from the things I need to hear in order to get help. I would whole-heartedly recommend Edith to anyone in real pursuit to improve themselves! Thank you Edith for being a wonderful influence on me!

Edith was the best therapist I’ve ever had! She is so cool and such an honest, lovely soul. Out of all the therapists I could of been matched up with on BetterHelp Edith was literally the PERFECT match. She ticked all the boxes of what I needed and my interests. I’m so thankful for Edith!

Edith is my first therapist ever. She made the process of getting to know each other really easy and has a nice way of asking me questions without giving me a feeling of discomfort. I love how she asks questions ("Is it really?" "But why do you think that?") instead of making comments. She has a very practical approach which gives me lots of options to test different ways, that might help me. I highly recommend Edith. I am looking forward to my sessions every week.
