I like talking to Preston, he’s down to earth and does a good job of making me see things that I may not have seen before. He uses personal experience to reiterate the point I may be making or that he makes and it helps knowing that he has gone through some of the same challenges that O am going through.

I have 30 years experience as a counselor. I have worked in many different environments including, private practice, local mental health clinics, inpatient mental health and substance abuse clinics.

I work with people to help them be the person they are and become the person they want to be.

I am a real bearded Santa but am not religious. I related to the natural world in a way that I describe as spiritual, although it may not be what most people consider to be spiritual

I served in the US Army both active duty and National Guard. I am a Vietnam Veteran with a total of 23 years service. I was a MFLC and worked with active duty soldiers and airmen for several years mostly at Fort Bragg but other facilities as well.

I am married, have four children and eight grandchildren.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Preston is awesome. Great listener and he works in mysterious ways. I was expecting homework and exercises and instead he gave me concepts to look up and YouTube videos to check out and random quotes and as I look back after 4 sessions I’ve made a ton of progress. He’s been amazing to work with. Down to earth and he’s got so much life experience he can really make you appreciate the small things. Would definitely recommend

Preston is the best therapist I have had in all the years I’ve sought out help. He has this incredible ability to help you open up without it being an interrogation. In the last few months I have felt that I am able to focus and have conversations without getting overwhelmed or having anxiety. He’s helped me build my confidence and taught me that I AM IMPORTANT.

I’ve been on Better Help for a couple of months and my therapist has given me resources as well as the confidence to rebuild my self image. I’ve also joined in on some support groups. Sharing my feeling a and experienced and being able to relate to others has really helped me build compassion for myself and others. Now I feel more in control of the situations in my life and I feel like I can handle them with care instead of acting impulsively. Thank you Better Help, and thank you Preston Page. Keep up the great work!

Preston is…the first therapist I’ve had in years who actually validates what *I* want, instead of telling me what to do. The four therapists I had before him? All gave dismissive responses like “yeah, but you don’t want that. What you want is…[something I don’t want. At all].” Preston actually asks “Hmm, so it sounds like you want this. Is that right? Oh? Hmm, oh okay so you said you want this. If that’s what you want, then that’s valid”

I greatly appreciate how Preston leads me to being able to continually improve on my own. If you went to a personal trainer who said "as long as you work with me, you'll be fine" you'd be wanting some independence sooner rather than later. I think of therapy the same way; I believe Preston Page has helped me reach a point where I can help myself in the future!

Preston has been wonderful for me during my first time seeking therapy. I had read that it can take several tries to find the right therapist for you but I was lucky to have Preston work out for me on the first try! Preston discusses things in a way that is relatable to me and has good suggestions.

Preston is a very caring man and works very hard in finding solutions for what's troubling you. He is a great listener, And it's very obvious that he cares that you come to a great understanding On how to deal with your own trouble. He actually answers your questions he doesn't just ask you another question and it gives you lots of material that you can research yourself when you're not in a session with him. I am so thankful for him and I am so thankful for this website better help.
