I am a licensed family and marriage therapist in the state of Oregon. I have worked with clients with a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, codependency, self-esteem, parenting struggles, grief and loss, ADHD, and career challenges. I also have experience with people who have lived through trauma such as abuse or neglect.

My therapy style is relaxed, interactive, and warm. I treat everyone with respect, dignity, and empathy. My approach combines attachment based, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, dialectical behavior, existential, and trauma focused modalities. It is important for the client to have a voice in their treatment, so we come up with an individualized plan to address their concerns. It is brave to seek help, and start the process of change. I know you are more than capable of processing your pain and healing. My role is to provide support, skills, and a safe place for you to grow. I am here to guide clients towards health, happiness, and fulfillment.

I am excited to help you in your transformation journey!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Eleni was super helpful and understanding in listening to the challenges that I've been working through and working to get better with. She was able to be empathetic but still push me to open myself to different views of how to see things from my partner's perspective which has greatly helped improve the relationship with myself and with my girlfriend. I highly recommend working with Eleni.

Eleni was wonderful to work with and made this a very pleasant experience. She really helped me understand the deeper causes of the problems I was having, and offered excellent insight throughout the process. I now feel like I have the tools to continue to move forward confidently, and I have Eleni's expert guidance to thank for that.

Eleni is such an empathic person and overall a wonderful human being. I have avoided therapy for the longest time but she (within 2-3 months?!) helped me open up, be more vulnerable, and recognize certain things within myself. It's just the person that she is; her warm personality immediately makes you feel safe and comfortable. No topic is ever feeling "stupid" to talk about; it's always relevant and it matters which was my biggest fear starting this process. The mindset of "so many people have it worse than me, why would my problems matter?". It's not easy whatsoever but I can share things with her that I have never been able to share or be honest about; even when it's with myself. One of the biggest factors as to why I'm sticking with this process is her nonjudgemental and well-rounded personality so I couldn't have chosen a better person to start this journey with...

She is easy to talk to and makes you feel very comfortable even with tough topics or something that would be difficult to discuss with someone you just met.

Eleni helped me to improve my feelings about my parents’ decisions and gave me tools to communicate with them better. She also taught me skills to manage my negative thoughts, empowering me to better control my mood. Eleni was very responsive to my messages and wonderful to work with. I will request Eleni's help if I ever need therapy again.
