Greetings!
My name is Kimberly Butler. I am a Supervising Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the States of Ohio and Michigan with over 35 years of experience in the helping field. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues and transitions, parenting , career challenges, sexual abuse, trauma, grief, eating disorders as well as emotional abuse. Counseling 11 years in a group home for unwed mothers provided me with a wide range of experiences, including adoption. I have spent the last 24 years in private practice.
Nearly 40 years of marriage and the raising of 8 children has added much substance to that experience giving me many opportunities to learn to show compassion and empathy.
I believe in treating all people with respect and dignity. and do my best to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral and client centered therapy.
I look forward to tailoring our dialog and your treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
Know there is someone willing to walk with you as you begin your journey to healing and health.
I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Ms. Kimberly and I just clicked. She listens to me, helps me navigate all my crazy family situations and is truly great at what she does.
I truly have never met such an incredible therapist. Kimberly was so patient, empathetic, and kind while also maintaining a professional outlook and helping me work through my relationship issues. She provided me with wonderful insight and I would eagerly await our upcoming sessions to further figure out my behavioral patterns. My outlook, self confidence, and mindset on life has improved with these sessions and I was very happy to have Kimberly as my therapist. She’s definitely a must see!
She keeps God center which is what I was looking for
I had an amazing experience with Dr. Kimberly Butler! The sessions that I shared with her helped put a lot of things into perspective for me. I like when therapists are patience and they make you think even outside of the session. She is the first therapist I've ever had, and I am grateful that I found her. It has been a pleasure speaking with her. 20/10 on the rating board! :)
