More about Nicole

Hi, My name is Nikki Pierce and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in both North and South Carolina and have clinical experience since 2005. My goal from day one has always been to make a significant difference in the life of others by way of being an advocate for those who cannot do so themselves in order to create a difference for generations to come. I utilize various types of therapy that is personalized each time I see a client in order to gain the most out of the current situation. I am a firm believer in utilizing mindfulness in every part of our day, which helps keep us grounded in a positive mindset and makes it easier to deal with difficult situations when they arise.

I have worked with a variety of therapeutic services over the years which includes outpatient clinics, in-home counseling, inpatient psychiatric hospitals as well as in-school with children and teenagers.

I have experience with a wide-range of concerns that include depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, psychosis, Bipolar Disorder, relationship issues, parenting issues and narcissistic abuse. I am very warm and interactive in my therapy style in which I incorporate into each session and remain open in order to meet your specific needs.

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, I relocated to South Carolina and earned my Master's Degree in Social Work in 2009 from the University of South Carolina. My undergraduate degree is in Psychology from the University of South Carolina-Upstate in 2004.

Outside of being a therapist, I love the beach, reading and traveling with my husband and three sons.

I am glad you are here and taking the first step in making positive change in your life. I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
