Mary is attentive and a great listener! However, she isn’t just a sounding board and is very good at helping me to see and acknowledge what I can do to help myself. Mary is compassionate and I highly recommend her.

I have been working with Mary for over a year and recommend her highly. Mary is warm, supportive, and respectful, and has consistently provided me gentle but honest feedback and guidance as I worked through a difficult workplace situation, which led me to re-evaluate my priorities and change careers entirely. It has been a privilege to work with her and I plan to continue working with her on a longer-term basis.

I have worked in the counseling field since 1995. My experience includes working as a counselor in an adult women’s inpatient unit specializing in eating disorders, personality disorders , psychotic disorders and PTSD.

I have maintained a private practice since 1998 working primarily with adults, families and couples .

I was a therapist at a Residential Healing Farm from 2005-2018 where I worked with adults who presented with a broad range of issues and diagnosis. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD, EMDR, Solution focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy are among the modalities used when working with clients.

My therapy style is to meet you where you are now , and together work towards solutions and empowerment.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
