More about Tara

  • 11 years' experience
  • Female
  • LCSW

I am a clinical social worker, currently licensed in New Mexico and Texas with over 10 years experience working as a behavioral health therapist. Being part of a military family has allowed me to work with diverse populations across the United States. I have worked with individuals that are seeking help with depression, addictions, career challenges, life transitions, family/relationship stress, and those who have experienced trauma or abuse.

My therapy style is warm and relaxed. My approach includes a mix of cognitive-behavioral, client centered, and solution focused therapies.

As a team, we can work together to find hope, meaning, healing, stability, and finding that passion for life again. We can identify those things that are holding us back and collaborate to get through the “stuck.”

I look forward to working with you!

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
