Hello and thank you for reading my biography! I have over 20 years of experience working with troubled youth and adolescents as a school counselor and 12 years of experience working in private practice. In private practice, I have worked with young children, adolescents, adults, and couples. I love working with people to help improve their lives and to help people become more insightful as they navigate the waters of life. I also consider myself rather philosophical and naturally inquisitive and I bring these qualities to my practice. If you have any questions for me, please do not hesitate to ask!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I’ve only had a few sessions with Kathryn but I’m already confident she will be able to help me find ways to cope with my mental health.
Kathryn has already been so helpful in getting me to look at my issues. She listens well and offers gentle challenges for me to consider. We write back and forth almost daily and the video call is terrific.
Kathy is supportive and helpful. She helps me see the situations more clearly by guiding me to further analyze the feelings and thoughts in my head. She also provided insights and advices to my relationship problems which was quite accurate and benifitial. I'm very satisfied and gratitude to her service.
She has been a great outlet for me. She really asks questions to dive into any concerns I have, and she asks return questions from my response to better understand, as well as propose the best assistance. I think she’s fantastic to speak to; very calming nature and very nice!
