She allowed me to open up and provided unbiased responses to my concerns. I felt validated in my emotions because I had been questioning if I was in the right or wrong in my situation. She helped me see that im just dealing the best I can with what I’ve got.

My name is Betsy Franks. I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Texas, with 30+ years experience. I have experience in treating a vast range of issues, including depression and mood disorders, stress, anxiety, PTSD, marital conflict, separation, divorce and blended families. I also have experience with foster care and adoption. I have extensive experience working with children and adults who have suffered from the effects of emotional, physical and/or sexual abuse, as well as other traumatic events.

All individuals require a different and unique treatment, it is my goal to tailor that treatment plan to each individuals specific needs and strength. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
