Elizabeth helped me immensely with feeling more comfortable in my own skin and is a fantastic guide to the world of transitioning. I'd highly recommend if you're having questions about gender identity and/or sexual orientation. Elizabeth has also taught me some solid skills to help mitigate depressive moods which have made day-to-day life more manageable.

Welcome! My name is Elizabeth and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked in public mental health for 10 years in a wide range of therapeutic settings including: direct care, assessment and diagnosis, case management and therapy. I also volunteered with a non-profit doing art and community development from 2011 to 2015.

Originally from San Diego, I moved to Michigan in 2007 to complete my undergrad in Social Work and Fine Art. I moved to Indiana in 2015 and completed my masters in 2017.

My areas of specialty include but are not limited to: depression, anxiety, neuro atypical family systems support, relationship challenges, substance abuse and dependency, post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, body image, chronic pain, somatic disorders, LGBTQ+ population, and intellectual, developmental, and learning disabilities support.

Therapy can be quite difficult, having a safe environment to talk about and process life's difficulties is so very important. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step I'm here to support and empower you. You can expect me to patiently walk with you through whatever difficulties you are facing and help you learn more about yourself, respect your uniqueness, and invest in your emotional well-being. I will hold space for you. I believe in the power of creativity to help us heal and grow and I am delighted to support you in being wildly self-expressed, joyful and connected to your deepest self.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I create pottery and watercolor paintings. I also enjoy cooking, gardening, fermenting kombucha and kimchi, tending to my succulents, and traveling.

I am excited to work with you to help you experience the greatest things that life has to offer you.

Let us work together to make it happen!

Thank you,

Elizabeth

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I have been seeing Elizabeth for almost two months now and I’ve purposely waited to submit a review to test the waters. I can honestly say Elizabeth has been a tremendous help in guiding me through my mental health journey. She actually listens and is very knowledgeable in her field! I highly recommend her to anyone seeking guidance, help with past trauma experiences, or even mental illness. In my own personal journey I did elect to go to an inpatient setting for additional psychiatric evaluation, and she was able to provide me with proper guidance upon going in and my departure from leaving the facility. I haven’t felt lost in anyway throughout this journey as she has been able to provide so many resources to help me with understanding my diagnosis and navigating through life with said diagnosis. Be willing to be open, I know it isn’t always easy, but Elizabeth is so down to earth and so easy to talk to!! She listens and understands, and ultimately just wants the best for you. If I could give her ten stars I would
