I have great caring and regard for people and love helping individuals find their worth, strengths and gifts as I see these as keys in empowering people. I believe in an individual and their ability to heal, transcend their situation, overcome challenges and succeed in finding personal growth and happiness. I believe in the innate ability for a person to change their maladaptive thoughts and patterns, solve problems and achieve integration in mind, body and spirit.

I value investing in people, relationships, and environments and by being an active contributor with positive impact, giving and receiving love, forgiveness, compassion, joy and humor. Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Julie has been the first therapist I’ve ever worked with and she made me feel extremely comfortable and at ease. She has helped me work through personal struggles with finance, self image and relationship issues by utilizing the skills and “fire inside” me in a way I never knew I was capable of. After every session with Julie I felt a little lighter and happier, her positivity and empathy towards my feelings through every session has helped me so much.

Reviewed May 2022

Julie is kind, compassionate, intelligent and so very insightful. She makes me feel welcomed and comfortable at all times to share what it is I am struggling with each week, and she does so without judgment. She remembers our previous conversations and took the time to get to know me and my situation which allows us to make the most of each session. She is thoughtful in her advice and gentle in her delivery of it. I would highly recommend her.
