Hello! First of all, congratulations for taking the courageous step of considering counseling. For many of us, there are barriers that make us hesitant to seek treatment. You've had the courage to make it this far, and together, we can empower you to achieve your therapy goals and feel better in your life.

I've been a counselor for 14 years, and have worked in a variety of settings, including mental health care, schools, nursing homes, a military installation, and non-profit organizations. I am currently licensed in both Indiana and Kentucky. I have experience with every age group from infants to a 104 year-old, and have helped people address a variety of struggles, from severe and chronic mental illness to anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma issues, to simply trying to adjust to new life circumstances or cope with the deployment of a loved one. With children, I have helped families work through issues of depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism, IDD, ODD, PTSD, changes in behavior, and much more.

My style of therapy is warm and interpersonal. I want to come alongside you on your journey to help empower you and help you find the tools you need to cope with the struggles you are facing. I am strengths-based and positive, and plan treatment and goals around what you want to achieve through therapy. I am respectful and non-judgemental, period. I look forward to getting to know the beautiful person God created in you, and empowering you to achieve your mental health goals!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Kate is wonderful. I always “chickened out” on doing therapy before, but Kate has made me feel comfortable from day one. She is very caring and helps me work through things in a different light than I’d ever considered or knew about before. I’d highly recommend her.

I have loved working with Kate! She listens very well, is very personable, and has incorporated faith into sessions beautifully! I’m so thankful that she has quickly (in 2 sessions) helped me to identify my negative thought patterns and given me resources, ideas, and support at combatting them. Would 10/10 recommend her!

Kate is so kind and so helpful. She is able to relate and give me great tips to reach my goals. She is always empathetic, yet is adamant about moving me forward and keeping my eye on my goal. Can't say enough good things about her.

Reviewed June 2022

This is my first experience with therapy, and I’m so thankful for Kate! She has made this new experience less intimidating, is very easy to talk to, and provides great resources in between sessions.

Reviewed June 2022

She is very helpful and has a lot of intuition. She helps me think outside of the box and opens my mind to new ways of thinking

Reviewed January 2022

I have just started working with Kate and I am so thankful for her. My needs have been listened to attentively by her and she knows just when to interject with truth bombs and wisdom to help keep me centered. Kate’s compassion and Christ centered approach are EXACTLY what I hoped for in a therapist. I’m turning 38 and have never been willing to try therapy. But, I told Kate that she is like a fashion stylist coming into my own closet to create an outfit from pieces I already have. I’ve spent years gathering self-help and motivational information and Kate is helping me put it together in a way that actually works for me.
