In a nutshell: I'm a husband to my beautiful wife and the father of two amazing daughters, providing mental health and addiction services is my passion!

By licensure, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Indiana.

By trade, I'm a therapist who has worked with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, men's issues, addictions, trauma and difficult life changes. I also helped many people who have experienced trauma or emotional abuse find comfort in who they truly are by developing themselves based on values instead of being defined by their circumstances.

My counseling style is relationship-centered, straightforward, validating, and challenging at times. Since 2013, I have been practicing as a Licensed Masters/Clinical Social Worker in Indiana helping to bring Restoration and Hope to individuals and families struggling with various life issues.

I believe in treating my clients with respect, autonomy, and empathy, and I don't believe in teaching through criticism or shame. My approach combines Cognitive and Dialectical Behavior therapy with Motivational Interviewing. I will tailor our conversations and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes guts and vulnerability to trust another human being with your story and present situation. If you choose to work with me, I am honored to partner with you to find true Peace & Joy in this life and to take more steps towards who you really are.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
