Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I’ve been working with Dr. Cokuslu for about 9 months now. In my experience, it takes a while to get in a groove with a new therapist, but after our first few sessions, I knew she had the expertise, compassion, and life experience for a meaningful, professional connection. She recommends a variety of ways to practice healing, coping, and mindfulness in my day to day life. Before every session ends, she makes sure that I’m in a good place and that I have what I need for a successful week. This is my second round of finding a therapist on BetterHelp, and I know I’ve made the right choice with Dr. Cokuslu.

I ABOUSTLY love working with her. So glad i choose her. She ask what my concerns are that week and how I'm feeling about what we are doing and talking about and if I understand it and if it's helping me. She always ask if I'm at a good place to stop the session which means so much to me Overall I wouldn't want to work with anyone else
