Dan has been wonderful so far, excellent at listening to talking points, as well as giving insightful, thought-provoking responses. He has helped me deal with heavy topics such as grief. I appreciate the short but valuable time I've been able to use his assistance in the grieving and growing process.

More about Daniel

  • 7 years' experience

  • LMSW

I have been working with children, families and organizations for over three decades in various forms. From children with special needs, to teaching, to hospice care, to working in schools and organizations, to now working full time as a therapist. In working as a therapist I have experience working in schools, churches, foster care, CPS, FOC, family relationships, child behavior, parenting, conflict resolution, and leadership counseling. I have worked with children, parents, grandparents, pastors, principals, and others seeking to move in a different direction, or better manage their current situation.

My therapy style is to listen, and help my client find their path to their goal. There should be a reason you are coming to see a therapist. With me you will be welcomed and accepted. Therapy can be hard for many reasons, my goal is to listen, observe, and to help you recognize what you can do to change things for the better.

I would be honored to be trusted as your therapist as we work together to help you find you and your family's goal(s) and move yourself toward a more fulfilling and productive life that you choose. If you are ready to take the next step, I am here to support and empower you.

Dan is a wonderful therapist, he listens and choose his words wisely. Doing therapy is difficult because it somehow digs up the feelings you’ve been hiding for many years. He is very professional and careful when difficult topic pops up, and finds the best way to communicate with you, I like the way how he addresses the issues without hurting your feelings. It does hurt sometimes, but it is the process that doing the hurtful work. He also has a good sense of humor and always knows when to ease the tension and makes me laugh a little bit when a difficult time happens.
