I am a licensed clinical social worker living in Florida with over 15 years of experience working as an individual, family and group therapist. I have worked with clients in a wide range of concerns including trauma, depression, anxiety, anger issues, parenting problems, relationship issues, OCD and ADHD. The majority of my work has been as an "in-home therapist" guiding children and parents as they overcome past abuse, neglect and grief/loss issues.
My counseling style is personable and engaging. I am non-judgmental and hold unconditional positive regard for all. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectal behavioral, psychodynamic and trauma-focused therapies . I will collaborate to discover what type of counseling will benefit you the most. Staying on task by developing interventions to achieve your goal is central to overcoming any challenges.
It is an honor and privilege to work with everyone as they start the tough, but rewarding journey to achieve a more joyful and happier life.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Excellent tool to have for a busy professional
Michael is an amazing therapist. He is attentive and sensitive to his patients' needs, provides great insight while allowing the patient to explore their own thinking and often come to their own conclusions working through the therapy process
Really personable and easy to talk to.
Michael is very knowledgeable in his field and provides many resources to aid growth both in and out of sessions
Michael is fantastic! He listens to me, understands my goals, and provides guidance on how to reach them. He's been great.
Michael is a very professional and personable therapist, he listens and helps clients navigate complex issues in a calm and supportive manner, guides you through the discussion and adds perspectives that aid in developing potential paths forward to a resolution.
Michael Davis is such a supportive and understanding person. I’ve had trouble finding a good therapist who could understand my needs and concerns while also providing insightful feedback on how to improve myself. I’ve never had a good therapist as Michael, and I feel so lucky to have found him for myself. I’m someone who struggles to ask myself the right questions and find the right answers, but Michael really helps guide you in the right direction to figure out how we can help reframe our lives and live our best version of ourselves. I recommend just giving Michael a chance, and thank you Michael for always being proactive with me and giving me positive feedback.
Michael listened well, offered practical advice, and encouraged me to find creative and practical solutions to aid in my mental health.
Michael Davis is a very kind, thoughtful, and professional therapist. He is a great listener and has provided very effective tools that have helped me greatly. Michael is non-judgmental and makes a person feel at ease throughout the session. I would absolutely recommend his expertise as a therapist to anyone looking to seek guidance and help in their lives.
Michael is hands down the best therapist I’ve tried. He is attentive with his listening and engages to let you know he’s understanding you. He comes up with systems and coping mechanisms that work for me specifically, that have really changed my day to day.
Micheal is caring, he listens without judging me, he encourages me and supports me. I really like this therapist. It feels like a mental massage. Highly recommend
I enjoy working with Michael and really appreciate his support and encouragement. He understands my concerns and offers me a variety of tools and strategies. He is knowledgeable in a wide range of topics and is kind, understanding and treats me with respect. I would definitely recommend Michael!
Hello, Michael Davis has already helped me so much, and we have only had three sessions together thus far. He has given me techniques to deal with my stress and anxiety, along with intrusive thoughts and self-sabotaging habits. He is thoughtful, kind, non-judgmental, and has a very calming disposition. I would recommend him for anyone who is new to therapy, like I am, as he is eager to listen and explore your thoughts, feelings, and ideas.
Absolutely amazing and very encouraging
Michael is special. He takes an approach with therapy that is unconditionally supportive and kind, even when it is probably very justified for him to feel differently. His approach is impactful in a unique way. I’ve had a lot of therapists more or less give up on me in the past when I’m unreliable about keeping appointments (which is an interesting paradox, given those were the same mental health professionals that should have known at least something about depression/anxiety and avoidance). Michael finds ways to still connect and deliver powerful, helpful, and effective advice even when you are struggling with what can feel like the simplest of things… just showing up. I’m really grateful to have met him.
Michael has been a great therapist and friend!
Mr. Davis is a great listening, keen EQ and a high level of empathy for individuals going through tough situations. His recommendations and programs offer great relief and healing.
Accidentally clicked "strongly disagree" when asked about promptness of communication. I meant to click "strongly agree". Please fix.
Outstanding and compassionate listener who nudges me to better understanding what I already know and helping me figure out how to go one step further. I don't feel pressured to make changes and can move at my own pace. Really great experience.
He is very compassionate and really listens. Always so encouraging!
Great therapist. Great listener
Yup!!!
Excellent therapist who understands where your coming from and offers sound advice
Very helpful in providing positive framework in conflicts and confusion. Michael has been great in listening, reflecting and offering alternative perspectives. I have learned so much in a short period of time!
Michael has been great! I need to do better at scheduling video chats with him to get the most out of my fees!
He’s great!
As someone with General and Social Anxiety talking to someone new is not easy for me. It's either prattling or silence. Michael made me feel at ease, listened to and understood from the first session. I stated in my questionare I was not religious but spiritual but still was greatly relieved there was not even a flutter of judgment when I casually dropped the word witch into the session. There is a gentleness in the accountability he holds me to that makes it a safe space to discuss and explore the blackslides and self detrimental things we sometimes experience in our healing.
Good guy
He's a really good listener and good at what he does. I've only had 2 sessions with him but so far he's been fantastic.
Very insightful, caring and knowledgeable, a pleasure to discuss personal matters with, not uncomfortable at all.
Michael has been a huge help to me just in the two sessions I’ve had with him. I look forward to this journey I am on with him.
So far he has been very encouraging. He listens to me and provides input and exercises.
Great listener and compassionate. I really am thankful I reached out and better help put us in contact.
