  • LPC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas who has worked in private practice for 3 years and has worked, full time, as a crisis counselor for 2 years. In 2019, I graduated with a Master’s degree in Education through Lamar University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. During my education at Lamar University I was awarded a grant for my research and was awarded scholarships for my academics.

My treatment approach is client centered, based on identifying, processing, and treating symptoms that are negatively effecting the client.

Clients could expect to speak with a counselor who values individuals for their uniqueness. It is my goal to help every client better themselves and find peace in their lives.

Reviewed January 2022

Kaitlin is empathetic and easy to relate to because we're similar in many ways. I love how chill she is—makes it super easy to talk! My favorite thing about her as my therapist is that she listens. Truly listens without judgment or telling me what to do. She treats me as an adult and trusts my ability to be my best self, thus empowering me to do so. Her methods are simple but incredibly powerful. Mostly, I like that we're there to talk—and we often laugh, which is therapy in itself. Thanks for keeping me on track through depression and BPD or whatever the heck this is, Kaitlin! You rock!!

Kaitlin has been exceptional in building my confidence in my abilities and keeping a realistic view of where I am and where I am going in life. She has been so encouraging over coping with a variety of issues and has given me so many tools to better myself. I was very skeptical of therapy and it’s usefulness in my personal journey, but now I look forward to weekly sessions and have seen an exponential amount of growth in how I am able to handle situations.
