I have over 20 years experience in counseling and have worked with a diverse range of people and problems. I have a laid back, empathetic approach and will listen - not judge. Let's develop strategies to get through today, but also to build a foundation to be better equipped to handle tomorrow. I'm experienced in working with depression, anxiety, bipolar, grief, addictions, aging & disability issues, LGBTQIA+ , work & relationship issues. My undergraduate degree is in sociology & psychology, and I have a master's in social work. I will listen and give support, and if you need some honest, constructive feedback about your issues, I'm ready. I want to help you create healthier boundaries and build the confidence to express yourself fully. As a social worker I am trained to look at the big picture: how we all affect each other, including our friends & family., our workplace & our community, & even the larger world. I understand the need for social justice and diversity. We need to work together to solve problems. But before we can fully do that, we need to work on ourselves.

Nicholas Brush is one of the best therapists I have come across. I honestly could even say he is the best. I have felt nothing but relief during my duration of communicating with him. He has numerous methods to help you discern and organize all your thoughts and asks questions to encourage you to dive deeper. I walked into his sessions truthfully feeling hopeless in life and I will be leaving his sessions with newfound passion and confidence that I have never felt before. Nick really helped me out and I encourage everyone to find a therapist just like him! Thank you so much Nick for that you have helped me with.

This man has helped me immensely these past few months, I don't think I could have kept a level head without someone like him to talk to. Fantastic human being!

Reviewed March 2023

Nicholas Brush has done an amazing job figuring out my particular issues and helping me through it whilst being willing to learn more about these issues to help even more along the way. My situation is very specific compared to most and he has been able to help me work through a lot of my issues as much as a therapist can. I never once desired to change therapists and he's been a great help remaining in contact through messages continually when need be in addition to our weekly video sessions. His desire to understand more about my scenario was always relevant and honestly he has put in extra effort towards me in a short time frame knowing that my situation is in need of that. I highly recommend him.
