Hello and welcome!

I’m Tiffinie. A licensed therapist who takes great pride and care in helping others feel less isolated and alone in their thoughts and feelings. As humans, we can often struggle to openly and transparently share ourselves with others in fear of judgement, vulnerability, and being misunderstood. My hope is that my therapy room is where those feelings cease. I do not take lightly the strength it takes for my clients to express themselves with me and don’t take for granted the courage it will take for you to shed layers of yourself. It is important to me that your therapeutic experience is personalized and individualized for your needs. I strive to ensure that my clients understand the therapeutic process as well as I work to guide the process in an interactive and collaborative way.

In the field of counseling/psychology, I earned by Master of Science (M.S.) at the Nova Southeastern University and Bachelor’s of Science (B.S) at Florida State University. My history of experience includes currently holding the position of a clinical supervisor for a non-profit community agency, group facilitator of a multitude of group therapy models (eating disorders, substance use, and stress management), and primary counselor/assessor at various medical and outpatient treatment centers. I personally describe myself as a driven and committed therapist who challenges clients to work toward healing and self-sufficiency while emphasizing their personal strengths and milestones.

My clinical areas of expertise include depression, life transitions, stress management, anxiety, parenthood, couples, and sexuality. I opened my practice in order to facilitate oftentimes difficult and complex conversations of self and to walk alongside women and men on their journey towards clarity and discovery.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
