No matter who you are or what your background is, I am here for you. My goal is to help you. My desire is to show you kindness and compassion.

A quick word about therapy in general. I utilize short-term approaches which have been proven to help people start feeling better very quickly. Some as early as four weeks but most after an average of about 12-15 weeks. (This is given the traditional once a week hour long session, so you may find minor differences in time frames with this platform.) For some, longer term therapy may be needed. The length of your therapy can be discussed and decided together on a case-by-case basis.

My goal is to teach you the skills necessary to be your own therapist and demystify the process. I want to help you learn how to not need me anymore! I believe that if I can help you find some relief regarding what is happening in your life now, it will be a bit easier to address anything in your past that might be causing you difficulty.

A quick word about me. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with six years experience providing counseling services to people of all ages in their homes. I have spent more than 20 years working with people of all ages in a variety of ways. For example; I have been public-school Special Education teacher and an English as a Foreign Language teacher, as well as a therapist. Some specific issues I can help you with include anxiety, depression, and anger management. Making the decision to even begin to consider counseling is a huge step.

It is important to note that I can’t make you any guarantees. However, if you are ready, I believe I can help you.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
