I just started seeing Robert and so far it's going great! He is extremely positive which is something I need in my life right now. Robert listens with real discernment. I am grateful for the way that he has understood my history and its impact on me, when many others have not. He has good insights on how trauma and abuse effect relationship habits.

I’ve only had a few meetings with Dr. Robertson, but he seems to listen very well and look at me as a singular human. His past expertise gives him experience in a broad range of humans which I think makes him a very understanding doctor. He’s on prompt to the session and to respond to messages and easily communicates ideas in terms that I understand.

Amazing man! Great listener and suggest going to him for any help!

Reviewed March 2023

Despite my complicated issues, and my, sometimes infuriating, avoidance of issues by rationalizing to the point of mundanity, he is very open and responsive, and even sometimes able to wrangle my thoughts back into focus and even cut through the fluff in order to get to the heart of the issue, or even challenge my methods of coping to make me realize my behaviors and patterns of avoidance. Truly an intelligent man that will shoot you straight, but very gently help challenge you in good ways. Highly recommend his approach to therapy.

Reviewed November 2022

I really like his method of therapy. He asks you to explain your thoughts or feelings and listens intently, then repeats it back to make sure he understands, or provides another way to see things from what you explained. He's not afraid to challenge your thoughts, but also not afraid to help you build on those thoughts and find better or different solutions to those same problems. Sharply intelligent, very professional, but not afraid to keep it real with you or approach the discussion on a relaxed/casual level if it helps you respond better. A truly professional and caring therapist. Keep up the great work you do!

We are just getting going but he has been great. A great listener and has highlighted some important facts and things for me to think about. Very pragmatic and helpful. I also like his conversational pace. Zoom counseling must be hard to take on and still form a connection with a person but I think he is doing great.

Reviewed August 2021

Bob is a wonderful listener that really knows how to work with the person speaking to him. He has the ability to break-down your messy, confusing thoughts and help you make sense of what you are experiencing. Most importantly of all, Bob focuses on the plan of recovery and self-improvement to be a solution for the long-term. I greatly appreciate everything he has done for me so far, and look forward to continue working with him.
