I am a licensed professional counselor located in Pennsylvania and have been in practice for about 30 years. My first career was in music. After leaving New York CIty, moving to PA, and starting a family, I became involved with a postpartum support group and , a few years later, decided to get an MA in Counseling. I feel most comfortable seeing myself as a work partner with my client. You bring your story, and together we explore what changes you might want to make in yourself and in the direction of your narrative to promote your well-being. I have training in many modalities, all of which work better after establishing a space for you that feels safe, nonjudgmental, and respectful, We are not often given the encouragement and the opportunity to talk about ourselves, to pull over for an amount of time each week and make sure we are living as well and deeply as we want to be. That is what therapy can offer, and I hope that the knowledge and experience I've gathered through the decades, both in and out of the office, may be helpful to you.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Amy goes above and beyond to make sure you feel heard and cared for.
Amy is so warm and insightful. She has wisdom and a firm but gentle approach that is just what I needed! She doesn't let me beat up on myself, and she keeps me focused on my goals.
I originally had a different therapist and truly didn’t find the benefit there.. Amy has been truly amazing and everything I’ve been looking for in a therapist. She’s opened my eyes to new ways of thinking, I feel comfortable speaking with her, and she brings so much insight to every I say. I am sticking around betterhelp because of Amy !
She's awesome
I only had one session with Amy, but that 1 hour changed my view of my past, my present, and my future. Her compassion is so authentic and pure, I loved sharing my story with her. If you're looking for a judgement free zone and someone to genuinely listen to you, Amy is the counselor for you.
