It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. Truly a thought provoking and beneficial therapist!
Jerrel is a patient and caring therapist. He has lots of experience and can help with many different issues. I highly recommend him.
So far, so good! I’ve only had one session so far, but the session that I did have made me feel validated and I felt so much better after!
He is the third person in my life on how he made me feel safe enough to open up.
Jerrel gives me the tough love that I need. He knows my goals, my hang ups, and the work that lies before me. He is ever the empathetic and astute listener, and I know he will give me the tools I need to succeed.
I’ve been in and out of therapy for nearly 40 years now, and Jerrel has helped me with new therapy tools and helped me rediscover old tools I forgot I had! Jerrel is a great listener and I feel both respected heard, and appreciate his approach!
He's fantastic! Very respectful, direct, and helpful
He does a fantastic job
As my first therapist after years of ignoring my own issues, i couldn't have asked for someone better. He has a brilliant calm and logical approach, while making sure that everything you feel is valid, important and that yourself and he are fighting against my issues together, not me and my issues fighting the world. Despite being very nervous to do this, he put me very much at ease.
omg, I accidentally clicked 'strongly disagree' when it should have been strongly agree!
Jerryl is judgmental and completely not capable of understanding people who live different lives from him. If you don’t do what he says- he quits on you as a therapist. Give me a break. Save your money. Go find a better therapist.
Jerrel has been extremely compassionate and understanding of me and my situation. He is easy to talk to and helps you go through your thoughts in a healthy manner with no judgement.
I've only had 2 sessions, but I feel that I'm heading on the right track. He has been supportive and has provided several options for me to obtain additional support within my community to assist with my choice to become sober. I think as we continue with our sessions he will begin to draw out of me what some of the contributing factors are that have triggered my addiction.
Great site, great therapist!
Thank you for everything!
A great person that helps understand what you are feeling and will help you be happy while being able to find a way to cope with what you are dealing with. A great and understanding person.
Jerrel offers a listening ear and guidance to shape yourself personally
Having a safe space to discuss my thoughts and feelings has been great for me through a breakup and personal development. I've been able to make sense of, accept, and dismiss thoughts that have the potential to prevent me from doing what I love. The most important part is the trust and relatedness with a therapist and I believe I have that with Jerrel so it's been a very positive experience for me :)
Very patient and easy to understand.
Good therapist!
Jerry is a great listener, but he also provides great insight, advice, and possible solutions. In my past experiences with therapy, all the therapist would do is listen and offer little response. That’s not the case here. Jerry is kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. I trust the advice he gives me and would absolutely recommend him to others.
The best!!!
Jerrel is very empathetic and responsive. He listens carefully and gives thoughtful feedback. I definitely feel very supported and appreciate his expertise! Highly recommended.
I felt pretty unreachable, and I went through a slew of just ok clinicians locally, so I thought I’d give online a try. Jerrell found me, and promised to earn my trust when I was still a little tentative. He has earned my trust tenfold, and in him, I’ve found not only a very experienced and empathetic therapist, but also an ally, and a confidante.
Jerrel is very patient and kind. He works with my mentality instead of forcing me to conform to his. He doesn't judge but listens and allows me to make my own conclusions with his guidance. I definitely recommend his services.
Jerrel is intuitive, perceptive, skilled and non judgmental. I’ve benefited from working with him hugely and value his input
I was nervous to start therapy but Jerrell has been so kind and thoughtful. He's helped me see some things from a different perspective and I've learned ways to deal with the hard times.
Would highly recommend :)
Mr Jerrel Ivey.. therapy sessions with you are eye opening to what the answers are.. thank you
I've been very happy with my sessions so far. Jerrel is a great counselor.
I really look forward to my appointments, and I do feel like I'm making progress and understanding myself more throughout our sessions
Jerrel's been very clear that he doesn't want to put words in my mouth or plant ideas that may not be true about me, which I really appreciate. He has helped me feel more confident about the things I'm thinking about myself and my situation. I've learned a lot even though we're still very much in a getting-to-know-you stage.
Jerrel is the best! He’s kind, calm and very well equipped to be the best therapist I could have asked for!
Jerrel is an amazing therapist , I have only been working with him a short period of time and loved the first session I had with him. He has a very comforting demeanor and is very kind. He is very easy to talk to and I’m looking forward to my next session with him
Helpful will be continuing :)
I had had 2 sessions with Jerrel so far. His expertise and consideration of the holistic picture of the situation I'm in is super impressive. He cracked down some of the aspects in this problem that I had never thought of. His support and frank opinion is really helpful as a great guidance to solve this ongoing issue. Highly recommended!
Jerrel has been a light in my life helping me see a new path ahead. He listens, he’s calm and he offers solid advice. I would recommend Jerrel a hundred times over
Jerrel has helped me by creating a safe space to talk about feelings I didn't know I had. She's been able to expand on things with me and supported me with the ideas I've had. He is very kind and feels like he really cares about what he does so thank you Jerrel.
I feel so comfortable, positive, and relaxed during my session with Jerrel.
After a few conversations with Jerrel, I can honestly say that he feels like a friend who understands the pain I'm going through as he listens without judgment and offers suggestions that would help me process my grief in a healthy manner. He is able to steer the conversation in a way that makes me reflect on my actions, responses, and emotions. Jerrel is someone I know I can trust.
