I feel so lucky to have found Beth as a therapist. She is supportive and has been a true savior at times!

Reviewed June 2022

Beth is absolutely wonderful! She is a great listener and really makes me feel safe! I feel like I can talk to her about anything, and she really understands. She has helped me so much by teaching me knew ways to approach issues and how to manage my feelings in a more productive way. She is very nonjudgmental and has also helped me learn how to start being kinder to myself.

Hello! My name is Elisabeth Braxton (I go by Beth) and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State. I have over 20 years of experience working in a variety of settings as a mental health counselor, including community-based agencies, public schools, and higher education. Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
