I worked with Monica for about 6 months during a period of unusual stress and anxiety in my life. I found Monica to be kind, caring, supportive and insightful. She provided a calm haven in a storm that gave me the space to hear my own words and thoughts. I feel stronger and more peaceful and ready to move forward. I will definitely come back to therapy with Monica as needed and I would recommend her to anyone seeking connection and support.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Monica is a very kind, patient, and understanding professional. I found it very easy to open up to her about my thoughts and feelings within me, and she found ways to further that with being able to empathize and relate to some of my issues. She offers great tools and ways to look/frame issues I am going through. I even had a breakdown during a session and she got me to calm down and stabilize in a very quick time. I hope to stay with her for a while.
