I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than five years experience in providing therapy for individuals, couples, and families. My experience include working with a diverse population in regard to age, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, and other diversity factors.

I believe people have the ability to become their best self mentally, emotionally, and physically. My approach to counseling, therefore, involves genuine interest in your hopes, dreams, goals, and aspirations in order to reach your greatest level of wellness and potential. I take a collaborative approach in identifying your specific goals for counseling and guide you toward them. I am a strengths-based therapist who utilizes the positive aspects of your life to build resiliency, restores hope, and open the door for new perspectives. I identify opportunities for growth and will challenge you in a nurturing and empathetic manner as you acquire and implement new patterns of thinking and behavior.

My primary counseling modalities include Bowenian (personal growth and development), experiential, structural and strategic, with a systems approach, or the idea that a person is best understood by the contexts in with they live and relate with other people. However, due to the unique needs and circumstances of every individual, I will use different methods of therapy based on those needs.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

This experience was absolutely horrible. I developed a relationship with Christine for over a year and then all of a sudden she just stopped showing up for scheduled appointments and stopped responding to messages. I do not recommend. Horrible experience.

Reviewed February 2023

I have never understood why intelligent people refuse to see a therapist. Sometimes a simple suggestion or encouraging word can make such a difference. Phyllis (Christine), encouraged me to keep a doctor's appointment that was scheduled for the following day after our session. I seriously contemplated canceling the appointment. Thankfully, I didn't! Over the course of the next 3 or 4 days, I found out I had 2 brain aneurysms. Thankfully, they had not ruptured! Point being.....sometimes just a few words from a trained professional can be life saving!
